jPartner Systems Ltd partner with KeyTrack Online Conveyancing
jPartner Systems Ltd (the developer of juniorPartner (jP) - New Zealands leading law practice management and trust accounting software program and KeyTrack NZ Ltd ( the developer of an Online Conveyancing system), have jointly developed and released an API interface. This now allows data to flow seamlessly between the juniorPartner program and KeyTrack's Transaction Status Reports (TSRs) within the cloud environment.
This functionality enables the efficient transfer of crucial data online and in ‘real time’ to all the parties that have an interest in a particular transfer of land.
The practical benefit to Law firms from this development is that there is no longer the need to enter data into KeyTrack (such as the client’s name address, email and phone numbers, the lawyer details and the property details). All this data is automatically entered with the click of the new “KeyTrack” button in jP making the process seamless and efficient. Ultimately KeyTrack envisages ‘sharing’ data in a secure online environment with the New Zealand Banking Industry, all Local Councils (providing automated LIM reports) with real time settlement notification to Councils, Quotable Value, Land Information New Zealand, Insurance Industry and more, all with the click of one button There are many parties that can benefit from KeyTrack real-time notifications of transactions becoming ‘unconditional’ and having ‘settled’.
The Keytrack system integrated with JPartner ensures law firms can offer clients a value add, cost effective service all within the flexibility and security of the “cloud” The new interface can immediately be rolled out to all juniorPartner firms around NZ. There is no cost to join KeyTrack so a law firm can be up and running with the KeyTrack program in a few hours. There is no minimum usage requirement and the original ‘pay as you go’ charging model of $25 plus GST per unconditional deal remains – if a deal falls over there is no fee. The fee is generally passed onto clients as a genuine disbursement as the client receives direct benefit of the system.
JPartner Systems Ltd sees this interface as a further example of its flexibility and readiness to develop enhancements to its program, thus providing ongoing support and service to its large and loyal customer base.
Graeme Ramsay, Managing Director and owner of jP says “We at jPartner Systems Ltd are committed to constant development of our juniorPartner Practice Management System and we actively seek suggestions for improving the software from our clients and prospective clients. Last year several clients asked for a link between jP and KeyTrack and it’s been a delight working with another kiwi-based software company developing specialist legal software for NZ lawyers. Like all our developments, the KeyTrack API enhancement is free to all jP users with a current Maintenance & Support contract.”
“We’d like to celebrate the new interface by offering a special KeyTrack discount of 25% on the purchase price of jP to firms who use KeyTrack but don’t currently use juniorPartner. This special KeyTrack discount is valid until 30 June 2012.”
